Her academic journey began in computer science and business management, but a growing interest in the legal field—sparked by inspiration from Legally Blonde and encouragement from her grandmother—led her to pursue a career as a paralegal rather than an attorney. She later graduated from Madonna University with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies.

Jessica has over eight years of experience in the legal industry. She began her career in a small law office, progressed through various small firms, and eventually secured a remote paralegal position with a nationwide paralegal company. With the support of her husband, she successfully transitioned to working from home and gained experience assisting attorneys across multiple states, including California. To ensure competence in multi-jurisdictional work, she proactively studied state-specific court rules and procedures.

After several years, Jessica recognized a growing demand for dependable, business-minded remote paralegal services. She founded JHD Paralegal Services to merge her legal experience, technological background, and business insight, with the support of her husband, who holds an associate’s degree in business management and brings over forty years of business experience. Together, they built a company designed to better support attorneys and improve workflow efficiency.
